Our Story
Northside Beats is about giving the power to the artists. So many artists are signed to record labels where they are mistreated, micromanaged, and stripped of their freedom as an artist. Here at Northside Beats, our motto is "where artists stay independent and achieve success". Our goal is to not profit off our artists. Our goal is to help our artists out with the services they need in order to build their brand and achieve their goals in the music industry. We offer services to signed artists and non-signed artists.
Memberships/Basic Information
Sole Ownership
As a signed artist under our label, you will be the SOLE OWNER of ALL your masters and we will only take a very small percentage of your royalties (Max: 20% of Streaming and Mechanical Royalties). Each artist will be assessed individually!
Subscription Based Model
In turn, instead of a cash advanced based system and paying us back with interest, we are a subscription based record label. This means that we will charge you a certain price monthly for your services. This monthly payment plan will cover all of the services that you will need each month(will vary from artist to artist). This monthly fee will eventually be covered by your royalties. Your royalty percentage that Northside Beats takes will be subtracted from your monthly payment until it reaches $0.00. Once your percentage of royalties that go to Northside Beats completely cover all of your monthly subscription fee, then you will owe nothing per month. Note: monthly fees are completely dependent on what services and how frequent the artist needs these services.
Non-Signed Artists
You do not have to be a signed artist to activate a membership with us. If you are interested in our services, we can offer you a monthly plan signed or unsigned. Your monthly rate will be determined by amount of services and frequency of services needed per month What services you need and any other specifics can be requested within our initial consultations! After your consultation, you will be given a monthly rate that can be negotiated with.
Changes to Plan
All specifics of what services are offered in your plan can be changed at anytime. We can not guarantee approval for these changes, but changes can be requested at any time. Specifics refer to: amount of services, type of services, royalty percentage (signed artists only).

How to Apply to be Signed
If you are interested in becoming a signed artist by Northside Beats, please follow the following instructions!
Instructions:
1. Submit a link to your Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or SoundCloud if you have released music. If you have nothing released please submit 2-3 mp3 tracks attached to the email.
2. Please give us the answers to the following information: artist name, genre/sub-genre, how long you have been making music, and a short artist summary of why you make music.
3. Please list all services you are interested in.
4. Please submit all of the following information in an email to northside.beats.llc@gmail.com
Any applications in DMs on social media will not be considered. You will receive a decision within 48-72 business hours. You may re-apply at anytime.

Here at Northside Beats, we offer services to all artists. We primarily focus on hip-hop, rap, R&B, and Pop artists. If you are not offered a record deal, that does NOT mean that you do not have access to our services. Instead of a monthly plan, you can choose to inquire for a single service. NORTHSiDE the Artist
NORTHSiDE is the CEO/Owner/Founder of Northside Beats LLC. NORTHSiDE is an alternative hip-hop artist originally from Chicago, IL and currently based in Atlanta, GA. NORTHSiDE has a very diverse catalogue including melodic rap, intellectual rap, modern style of production, and creative monologues. NORTHSiDE's primary goal for creating music is to be able to spread awareness about everyday struggles and issues. NORTHSiDE may not have grown up in a poor neighborhood, but still faced many struggles including being an outcast in his environment, mental health struggles (ADHD, anxiety, depression, etc), being overlooked, being excluded, and not fitting in. The I in NORTHSiDE is a lower case i because it represents how NORTHSiDE views himself. He wants to view himself this way to make sure he never loses the drive to work harder than all of the competition around him and to make sure to keep true to his morals of being humble.
